Please contact Customer Service. 4. SET-UP & PRE-PRESS CHARGES -- included in the price. 5. ADDITIONAL LANGUAGES -- We can translate your Guru into any language required, from Spanish to Japanese. Additional charge applies. 6. IMPRINTING -- All Gurus are offset printed, with your logo included in the original 4-color electronic file. There is no additional charge for your full-color logo. 7. ARTWORK -- can be sent via E-Mail or on disk. E-mail is preferable, as it’s faster and less expensive! Acceptable file formats for Macintosh and PC: • Adobe Illustrator 9.0 or lower, saved as a black and white .eps or .ai file with all fonts converted to outlines. • Adobe Photoshop file saved as a .tif file extension or a .bmp with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. • QuarkXPress (send original document and export as an EPS); please include fonts. Artwork sent via express delivery Artwork sent through an express delivery service must be sharp, clear, black and white artwork with no screens or shading. Only original artwork should be sent; copies or badly printed artwork cannot be used. Additional costs will be incurred if supplied artwork needs to be redrawn. 8. STOCK GURUS: create your own cover -- The entire front and back covers of a Stock Guru can be customized. Client may supply artwork or Guru can design; additional charges apply. 9. CUSTOM GURUS: Images -- Specific photographs or illustrations requested by client may incur an additional charge. 10. MINIMUMS -- All Guru books are printed in individual press runs. The quotation for 1,000 books is the minimum amount. (Ordering less than 1,000 books will cost the same as ordering 1,000 books.) 11. PROOFS – Faxed paper proofs are provided free of charge. 12. CATALOG DATES -- Printing prices are valid on all orders received between January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2002. 13. OVER-RUNS/UNDER-RUNS -- We reserve the right to overship/undership by no more than 5% of the total quantity per product per order. 14. SPECIAL SIZES -- We can arrange special sizes of books, special finishing (example: slots to hold hotel room keys), etc. Additional costs may apply depending on the request. 15. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN -- We constantly compare printing prices worldwide for the lowest possible price. Currently we print in Europe, the U.S. and Southeast Asia. Books must be marked with the country in which they are printed. If you require books to be printed in the United States, an additional charge may apply. The client must advise at the time of order. 16. SHIPPING-- All prices include shipping. Prices reflect air shipping for all orders under 25,000 units, and ocean shipping for orders of 25,000 or more (allow three weeks-plus for ocean shipping). Prices include normal customs clearance and duties. Available at an extra charge: • Air shipping for orders of 25,000 or more • Air shipping a portion of an order to make your deadline (trade show, special promotional event, etc.) and ocean shipping the balance • Drop shipments • Split shipments 17. PACKAGING -- 900 books per carton (in bundles of 50 books each). Carton weight: 22 lbs. Approximately 50,000 books per pallet. 18. COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK -- must appear, usually placed on back cover. 19. CANCELLATION -- charges apply for costs incurred. 20. PAYMENT -- Deposit required. VISA and MasterCard accepted. |
